Its deep forges and ironworks supplied weapons, tools, and armor to the entire North, making it one of the most economically vital members of the Silver Marches. For generations it stood as a bastion against orc hordes and giant incursions, its walls famously resilient in countless sieges. But the devastating orc wars of the 1480s DR shattered much of its strength, leaving Sundabar scarred and its people scattered. In the aftermath, the Silver Marches fractured, and Sundabar’s star dimmed, a proud city still struggling to reclaim its former glory.
