![[PC_IMAGE_DROUGMA.png]] - **Race/Class:** Dragonborn Barbarian. - **Age:** Unknown - **Scale Color:** Whiteish-teal, broad, jacked and muscular. - **Origin:** Unknown - **Height/Build:** 6'2" (6'8" with horns) - **Favorite Food(s):** Berries.. just berries I guess? - **Alignment:** Unknown #### Appearance & Gear - **Clothing:** - Typically shirtless, showing off his muscular build. - Wears a cloak clasped at the neck with a ruby-red crest. - Simple leather pants and slippers. - **Tail:** Short, stubby, protrudes from the top-rear of his pants. - **[[Drougma's Hammer]]:** Large, personal, engraved with the name “[[Vlad]].” Always carried. #### Personality & Beliefs - Generally quiet about his past; doesn’t share much detail about himself save for when he broke down in [[Seagrove Cavern]] to [[Constantine]] and [[Dio Eldwynair]] about how he felt that he was weak and didn't live up to [[Vlad]]'s name. - Seems deeply uncomfortable with magic and quick to voice disdain for it - From his tribe’s traditions: - Magic users were seen as abominations - They were either cast out or killed - Drougma has expressed this same attitude, dislikes magic intensely; yet it seemed that he knew how to use it in our fight against [[Sparkrender]]; not certain how he uses it. - Knows a great deal about dragons I think, which the party sees as natural for a Dragonborn but perhaps runs deeper? Maybe he doesn't know anything. - There appears to be something about the name "Tarak" that seems either brutish or negative in relation to dragons. Drougma confronted [[Tarak]] about his given name stating a disdain for it. - Has mentioned [[Vlad]] reverently a number of times; likely an important figure in his life, ~~though the connection is not truly known to me~~ Vlad is his older brother. #### Notable Incidents - [[Drougma's Barrel]]: Discovered a strange, foul-smelling barrel of oil during travel; kept it in the caravan, but it’s never been referenced again, do we still have it in storage? - [[Rogue Kobold Tribe]]: Able to converse with kobolds in Draconic, serving as translator when [[Traxis]] was absent - General Behavior: - Keeps to his warhammer exclusively - Disdain for magic comes up frequently (EXCEPT WHEN HE USES IT, GOD................) - *PERHAPS THERE IS A REASON FOR THIS* - Often reserved and enigmatic in his contributions #### UNKNOWNS - His village/tribe remains unnamed- we know nothing about its size, customs beyond the anti-magic stance, or location - The true significance of [[Vlad]] and why his name is carved into the warhammer? - Why he came to the island at all, beyond receiving the same letter as the rest of us? - The ultimate reason for his hatred of magic- whether purely cultural or more personal? Still not certain on this - Drougma recently revleaed in our conversation in [[Greenest]] tid-bits about [[Drougma's Mother]] and [[Drougma's Father]]- and that [[Vlad]] is really his older and revered brother.
