He contracted the [[Rogue Kobold Tribe]] on the island to assist with his nefarious scheme. He believed that by sacrificing [[Aidron]] (*an ally of [[Elder Runara]]*) as a comet called the "**King-Killer Star**" flew overhead he would be granted powers that would have permitted him to join the [[Cult of the Dragon]]. Our party consisting of [[Kalis Mikhailson]], [[Marcel Voltaire]], [[Drougma Tarak]], [[Dio Eldwynair]] and [[Constantine]] put an end to his villainy in a battle atop the [[Cliffside Observatory]] after destroying totems that provided him near invulnerability to anything. After the totems were destroyed, [[MYSTERIOUS WOMAN]] flew in riding [[MYSTERIOUS WOMAN'S DRAGON]] and openly taunted the failure of a wyrm that Sparkrender was. She left, and then we fought him to the death which... resulted in his death; *and the salvation of the inhabitants of [[Dragon's Rest]]*. Marcel, Kalis and Constantine all harvested one scale each from Sparkrender's remains, while Drougma harvested a tooth he fastened to a necklace as the battle concluded.
