**Type:** Language (Necromantic)
**Common Speakers:** Undead, necromancers and more
**Status:** Widespread
**Overview:** Necril is the primary language of the undead, used throughout [[Geb]] and other necromantic societies for administration, trade, and ritual. It is precise, formal, and deliberately unemotional, favoring clarity over nuance. Many living creatures find it uncomfortable to hear, as its structure reflects the priorities of undeath rather than life. [[Zeph Calderon]] learned Necril during his time with [[Bonewick]], where fluency was necessary to operate in [[Mechitar]] and pass among undead without drawing attention. Though he rarely uses it now, the language remains ingrained; useful, efficient, and difficult to forget.
