I have been there enough times across enough lives that I know the city better than I particularly wanted to. - One of those lives ended there during [[05 - The Festival of the Moon]]. After killing a Doommaster, I was captured and executed. [[Beshaba]] eventually returned me to the beginning again, as she always does. - I have died in Baldur's Gate on another occasion as well. At some point a city stops feeling unlucky and starts feeling personally rude. - I returned again with the [[Yang Gang]] during our pursuit of the [[Cult of the Dragon]]. Shortly before we docked, I ended up fighting [[Constantine]] aboard the ship because he was causing enough trouble within the group that I was not willing to let him jeopardize what we were walking into. - Once inside the city, we eventually found [[Ackyn Selebon]], who put us with a caravan heading north toward [[Waterdeep]]. - Baldur's Gate has never felt like home to me. Mostly it is a place I keep leaving, occasionally by road and occasionally by dying.
