I have been there a few times over the years, though never long enough to pretend I know the place particularly well. - What I do remember is the shopping. Berdusk has some genuinely excellent merchants, the sort of place where wandering in for one thing can very easily become leaving with five. - I have always understood the city to be fairly large, somewhere around twenty thousand people or so. Beyond that, I could not tell you who is actually in charge or how old the place is without guessing.
