He claimed he had been around one hundred and twenty-six years old at the time, though he also later described himself as being in his "four hundreds". He looked considerably older than he claimed he truly was, something he attributed in part to an encounter with a banshee that made him feel as though he had lived entire lifetimes in an instant. - He later spoke on his and Oliva's journeys eventually brought them to [[Stormwreck Isle]], where they investigated unnatural luck and foul magic before killing the blue dragon [[Eldenemir]], a servant of [[Beshaba]]. With its death, Eldenemir cursed the chumps in Beshaba's name, beginning what Radecere knew as the [[Curse of Folly]], a divine affliction that followed its victims and preyed upon their fear, anger, grief, and misfortune. - Radecere possessed powerful magics, including the ability to summon a silver-winged celestial and to call upon Tymora's favor to heal others, though I never learned exactly what manner of priest, cleric, or other practitioner he considered himself. - He knew Olivia long before I did, affectionately calling her "Livvy," and from everything I learned they had been extraordinarily close. - He also knew far more about me than I expected, having apparently learned of me through Olivia's own writings. Radecere survived long after those adventures and carried pieces of that life with him. - For the short time I knew him, Radecere became one of the few living connections I had to a part of Olivia's life that had always existed beyond my reach. - His final words were, "See you in Avernus, Besha-Bitch," before a brilliant beam of radiant light struck him and reduced him to ash, leaving little behind beyond scorched earth and his mace. - After his death I found more of the pieces he had carried from his old life, including [[The Letters]] and a portrait of himself with Olivia. Hearing [[Beshaba]] laugh inside my mind and speak my name afterward made it impossible to dismiss what happened as some ordinary corruption or accident. - I carry his mace with me on my back as a memory of the man I never truly knew...
