The Cult has been gathering enormous quantities of treasure and transporting the hoard toward the Well, though neither we nor [[Yang Pahlavan]] know exactly where the place is located. - From what we have learned, the Well is intended to serve as the [[Cult of the Dragon]]s staging ground for bringing [[Tiamat]] back into [[Faerûn]]. - The treasure being carried by their caravans is therefore not simply wealth being collected for its own sake, but part of whatever they intend to use in Tiamat's return. Yang stated that a place this important to the Cult is almost certainly heavily fortified, and there may be important prisoners or other people being held there as well. - Dragons have already been involved in helping move the Cult's treasure, making it difficult to imagine that the Well itself will contain anything less dangerous. For now, stopping or intercepting the flow of treasure remains one of the few ways we know to delay whatever the Cult intends to accomplish there.
