My first contact with him came through a letter in which he claimed to already know about me, my situation, and what I might be capable of. - Yang sent similar letters to [[Marcel Voltaire]], [[Constantine]], [[Traxis]], [[Drougma Tarak]], and [[Kalis Mikhailson]], directing each of us toward [[Stormwreck Isle]] to help his friend [[Elder Runara]]. None of us knew one another at the time, which means Yang chose every member of the group individually for reasons he has never fully explained. - I first met him in person only after our work on Stormwreck was finished. He described himself as a vigilante and spoke to us about the growing threat posed by the [[Cult of the Dragon]], eventually putting us on the path we have followed ever since. - Yang possesses magic far beyond anything I understand. After we found ourselves stranded at sea, he somehow moved all of us directly to [[Greenest]] as though the distance between the two places meant absolutely nothing. - He has continued appearing throughout our journey, sometimes providing information and sometimes rewards. On one occasion he gave each of us a personal gift, including the [[Clockwork Amulet]] he gave me, before questioning us about what we had learned regarding the Cult's treasure. - What bothers me most is how much Yang seems to know before we tell him anything. I still do not know where he comes from, who he truly works with, or whether he is guiding us, using us, or both.
