Whitewashed walls, flowers, lanterns, and the smell of herbs make it fairly obvious that no one designed the place with sword drills in mind. - [[Caldus Brightflow]] serves as the steward of the Step House and is responsible for keeping the place orderly, supplied, and prepared for whomever arrives. - Most of the year the House remains fairly calm, with travelers resting, praying, or simply recovering from however many miles brought them to Silvercross.
