She is elegant, controlled, and difficult to read, with white hair, pale lavender eyes, and a manner that makes danger feel almost conversational. Unlike common cutpurses or hired blades, Noctelle prefers leverage, false identities, hidden buyers, and carefully arranged betrayals. Her work often moves through auctions, private collections, noble salons, and the darker side of coastal trade, where rare objects can vanish behind legitimate paperwork. She is best known in Cassian Vaelisar’s story as the only thief to successfully steal the [[Stillseal]] from him, turning his own vanity and charm against him. To Cassian, she is both a wound to his pride and a reminder that even the greatest thief can become someone else’s mark. <div class="dioctionary-ribbon">HER PAST</div> - Noctelle was born in 972 DR and learned early that survival depended on knowing what others wanted before they admitted it aloud. By the time she reached the surface, she had become skilled in disguise, deception, and the sale of dangerous objects to even more dangerous people. Her path eventually crossed with Cassian Vaelisar during a run of elegant heists, where the two matched each other closely enough that trust became part of the performance. Noctelle recognized the value of the [[Stillseal]] before Cassian understood its full importance and stole it during one of their shared jobs near the end of his time as Cassian Vaelisar the VIII. She intended to sell the ring to Banite buyers who wanted its power over age, inheritance, and lasting rule, using the spice trade of [[Marsember]] to hide the exchange. Cassian recovered the ring after nearly a year of pursuit, but Noctelle escaped with her life, her reputation, and the rare distinction of having beaten him at his own game.
