<div class="dioctionary-ribbon">A Brief History</div>
- The [[High Forest]], also called the Great Everwood, is one of the oldest and greatest forests in [[Faerûn]]. It stretches across northwest Faerûn between the [[Evermoors]] and the edge of [[Anauroch]]. The forest is a remnant of an older world, when elves, giants, and dragons held power before human kingdoms carved names into every map like that was helping. Within its depths stand places such as the [[Star Mounts]] and the ruins of ancient elven and Netherese power. Its history includes fallen elven realms, demon-haunted ruins, the fall of Karsus, the rise of Hellgate Keep, and the long work of treants and returning elves trying to preserve what remains.
