Her faith is strongest among those who live close to the wilds, especially rangers, foresters, wood elves, dryads, treants, and those who protect woodland places without trying to tame them. Mielikki is closely tied to [[Silvanus]] and [[Eldath]], serving the balance of nature while showing more warmth toward wounded animals and endangered friends than the harsher Oak Father often does. She is especially associated with the [[High Forest]] and the protection of forests from those who would despoil them for greed or conquest. Her manifestations often appear as a white unicorn, a soft forest light, or a voice carried through rustling leaves.
