He is younger, sharper, and far crueler than Urgath ever allowed himself to be. Varkhul dresses in red leathers with Beshaban charms taken from shrines, wagons, and the bodies of rivals who crossed him. Under his command, the Redwheels have become louder, richer, and more dangerous. He does not see the gang as a road family, but as the beginning of something that should rule every toll road, caravan stop, and frightened village along the Trade Way. To Varkhul, [[Kaz'ro Krovash]] is the worst kind of legend, one who walked away and still casts a longer shadow than the man trying to replace him. <div class="dioctionary-ribbon">HIS PAST</div> - Varkhul was born in 1470 DR and grew up in the shadow of the [[Redwheel Gang]], hearing stories of Urgath’s old code and Kaz'ro’s impossible fights until both names became unbearable to him. He joined young, eager to prove that fear worked faster than loyalty and that mercy was just weakness with better manners. Urgath saw the violence in him and kept him watched, never trusting Varkhul with more power than necessary. After Urgath died in 1490 DR, Varkhul gathered the younger Redwheels who were tired of old rules and wanted the gang to become something larger than a pack of road raiders. He preached that [[Beshaba]] favored those bold enough to become disaster instead of waiting for disaster to find them. Under his rule, the Redwheels began burning what they once would have spared, breaking toll camps instead of merely robbing them, and treating every shrine to Beshaba as a place to swear new blood-oaths. Varkhul’s rise has made the gang feared in a new way, but it has also made Kaz'ro’s return feel less like a possibility and more like a debt the road itself is waiting to collect.
