Unlike many Uthgardt mounds built from earth, Flint Rock is formed from heaped stone rings set atop a flint outcropping, because apparently even sacred tribal architecture needed to look like it could cut you. The site is shaped around the Elk totem of [[Uthgar]], with concentric cairn rings and an inner vale that resembles a leaping elk when viewed from above. At its heart stands a great stone altar. The Elk tribe gathers here for funerals, marriages, laws, rites of adulthood, and veneration of their totem.
