Led by [[Talyra Vhaelorin]] and defended by her blade-lord [[Ryldan Vhaelorin]], the house maintained its place through useful services to stronger powers. Publicly, Vhaelorin observed the expected rites of [[Lolth]], but beneath the surface, parts of the house leaned toward older ideas of resistance associated with [[Vhaeraun]]. That hidden sympathy never became open rebellion, because even drow with principles still enjoy remaining alive. Its fall came when [[House Hunzrin]] decided Vhaelorin was more valuable broken than allied, slaughtering the household and taking [[Zesstra Vhaelorin]] and [[Ilvara Vhaelorin]] alive. The house survives now only through [[Vezryn Keth]], the last son of Vhaelorin, who carries its name like a buried blade and intends to make Hunzrin bleed for every life it stole.
