He carries a long two-handed blade and fights with the disciplined style taught to him by [[Masaru Keth]], the surface swordmaster who found him after his escape from the [[Underdark]]. After Masaru’s death, Vezryn took his teacher’s surname as a quiet act of mourning, using Keth as the name of the man he chose to become rather than the noble heir he failed to remain. He now wanders from town to town as a blade-for-hire, saying little, watching everything, and stepping into corrupt places with the grim patience of a man already half-buried. His true purpose is the destruction of [[House Hunzrin]], even if that vengeance costs him the last pieces of himself. <div class="dioctionary-ribbon">HIS PAST</div> - Vezryn was born in 1365 DR into [[House Vhaelorin]], a lesser noble house of [[Menzoberranzan]]. His father, [[Ryldan Vhaelorin]], served as the house’s blade-lord, while his mother, [[Talyra Vhaelorin]], ruled its inner politics with the cold precision expected of a drow matron. That caution failed when [[House Hunzrin]] moved against them, slaughtering the Vhaelorin household and taking Vezryn’s sisters, [[Zesstra Vhaelorin]] and [[Ilvara Vhaelorin]], alive. Vezryn escaped the [[Underdark]] with little more than his blade and the shame of survival, eventually collapsing on the surface where he was found by [[Masaru Keth]], an old swordmaster from distant [[THE DIOCTIONARY/TTRPG/D&D/WORLD LORE/LOCATIONS/ARTIMIS/KARA-TUR/Kara-Tur|Kara-Tur]]. Masaru taught him how to fight without letting hatred choose every strike, though he never asked Vezryn to forgive the people who destroyed his family. After Masaru died, Vezryn took the name Keth and began wandering as a clanless swordsman, hunting signs of [[House Hunzrin]] wherever their agents surfaced. Vezryn no longer knows whether his path ends with rescuing his sisters, killing them, or dying beneath the house that stole them.
