Vhalak is not as powerful within the house as Vaerindra’s daughters, but he is useful enough to keep alive, which in drow politics is practically a marriage proposal. He prefers not to fight directly unless every advantage has already been bought and paid for. <div class="dioctionary-ribbon">HIS PAST</div> - Vhalak was born in 1361 DR into a minor Hunzrin line and learned quickly that influence did not always require rank. He proved himself by surviving surface work, where drow agents often died from arrogance, sunlight, or underestimating desperate humans with knives. Over time, he built contacts among hired killers willing to take Underdark coin without asking too many suicidal questions. After the fall of [[House Vhaelorin]], Vhalak was ordered to watch for any trace of survivors. He eventually learned that Vezryn had taken the name Keth and begun moving across the surface as a wandering swordsman. Since then, Vhalak has fed him rumors, half-truths, and bait, hoping to turn Vezryn’s revenge into a path that ends exactly where Hunzrin wants him.
