The city is divided into districts such as Troutmouth, the Shattered Ward, and the New Ruins, each carrying its own mix of old wealth and theatrical rot. Pitax attracts artists, merchants, criminals, duelists, informants, and people who insist they are respectable while doing profoundly unrespectable things which works great for a business where fewer questions need be asked. Inside of this city is [[Gideon Duskwell]]'s trade and home, [[Duskwell’s]]; which is locally known as the "Trophy Room".
