She was fairly tall with pale skin, black hair, and gray eyes that made even armed men think carefully before lying to her face. She wore dark, plate armor marked by years of war and travel. In battle, Talia fought with a heavy halberd and the brutal patience of someone trained to break those who believed themselves untouchable. She was not gentle, and few people were foolish enough to mistake her justice for mercy. Talia believed law was a weapon pointed at the powerful, not a chain fastened around the weak.
