<div class="dioctionary-ribbon">A Brief History</div>
- Constatius is not a separate being so much as the shape Constantine’s fear has taken, a version of him stripped of hesitation, doubt, and panic. He looks identical, but everything else is wrong, he stands steady, speaks clearly, and observes the world with a sharp, unsettling awareness that Constantine lacks. He is not an illusion, not a possession, and not an enemy, but something deeper, a part of Constantine that endured by stepping back while fear absorbed the damage. What makes him most unsettling is that he does not mirror Constantine, he studies him, as if he understands what Constantine is becoming before Constantine does. He does not follow, he guides, and whatever path he is leading him toward has yet to reveal itself.
