I remember being genuinely excited when [[Olivia Halcrest]] first brought me there alongside [[Lira Morningvale]] and [[Kaelen Droswynn]]. It was supposed to be another adventure with the people I cared about most, and at the time, I had no reason to think I'd ever come to hate the place. That changed when Olivia died at the [[Cathedral of Lathander]] and [[Beshaba]] decided that every death I suffered thereafter would bring me right back to that moment. I've woken up on that cold stone floor more times than I care to count, each time carrying another lifetime of memories that nobody else remembers. I fucking hate Eveningstar. I hate the cathedral, I hate the sound of its bells, and I hate knowing that no matter how far I travel or how many years I manage to live, I could find myself back on that floor again. After everything I've endured, waking up in Eveningstar remains one of my greatest fears. Not because I'm afraid of dying, but because I'm terrified of opening my eyes and realizing that I've lost everything all over again.
