<div class="dioctionary-ribbon">A Brief History</div>
- The Greenest Inn stands as the primary place of rest within [[Greenest]], a modest but well-used establishment that serves travelers, farmers, and the occasional wandering adventurer passing through the Uldoon Trail. Owned and operated by [[Mugglewog]], a retired goblin bard whose past life lingers in his sharp wit and quiet awareness, the inn carries a personality that feels slightly out of step with the rest of the town; more observant, more deliberate, and far less naive than its surroundings. Despite its humble size, the inn functions as a central gathering place, where news travels quickly, deals are quietly made, and those passing through leave pieces of their stories behind. During the night of the Cult’s assault, the inn suffered damage like much of the town, its interior left disordered and partially broken in the aftermath. Even so, it remained standing, and in the days that followed, it became a place of recovery as much as rest. The group known as [[Yang Gang]] stayed here during their time in Greenest, their lodging paid in full by [[Governor Tarbaw Nighthill]] in gratitude for their role in defending the town. Within its walls, plans were formed, tensions surfaced, and the weight of what had happened outside began to settle in, making the inn less a refuge and more a quiet center for reflection in the wake of chaos. Mugglewog himself runs the inn with a practical, no-nonsense approach, though traces of his bardic past remain in the way he listens more than he speaks, remembers more than he lets on, and tolerates just enough nonsense to keep business steady. The food is simple but reliable, built from what the town can provide; slow-roasted meats, bread, pies, and strong drink meant to carry people through long days. Nothing here is extravagant, but everything serves a purpose, much like the town it stands within.
