He does not tolerate being reduced to a curiosity, and those who make the mistake of calling him “little goblin man” are met with a look sharp enough to end the matter without escalation. In the aftermath of [[Greenest]]’s burning, his inn stood in disarray, chairs overturned and tables half-mended, yet he remained steady, restoring order piece by piece with the same practical resolve he applies to everything else. When [[Yang Gang]] arrived, he greeted them not with fanfare, but with recognition, extending food, drink, and rooms already paid for by [[Governor Tarbaw Nighthill]]. The meals he serves are simple but filling, slow-roasted hog, coarse bread, strong ale, and whatever pies can be made from what the land provides, and while others might indulge, Mugglewog notices who eats, who drinks, and who quietly pockets the rest for later.
