Known for its deep, seldom-visited hollows and unpredictable dangers, the forest has long marked the boundary between Cormyr and [[Dalelands]], resisting full control despite repeated efforts to tame it. Across the [[Immerflow River]], settlements such as [[Silvercross]] sit just beyond its reach, close enough to feel the weight of its presence but far enough to remain in the light of open land. Within the Hullack itself, goblins, orcs, and stranger things move beneath the canopy, while old legends speak of the forest’s namesake, a druid still lingering as a spirit to those who wander its depths in search of forgotten knowledge.
