Her knowledge of plants did not come from study, but from necessity; what healed, what harmed, and what could be trusted when nothing else could. Over time, that knowledge refined itself into something precise, something dependable, even if the way she spoke about it never quite lost its edge. She eventually found her way to [[Silvercross]], where her skill proved difficult to ignore, even if her presence was not always immediately welcomed. Work at [[The Copper Lantern]] gave her a place to remain, and more importantly, a place to be useful. It was there she met [[Geredine Blackfen]], and where the two formed something steady out of two very different lives. Where Geredine brought patience and care, Lysara brought instinct and adaptability, the two forming a balance neither had known before. She does not concern herself with the expectations of [[House Blackfen]], nor does she attempt to navigate them.
