Outside of work, he retreats to a cheap riverside shack near the [[Immerflow River]], preferring its quiet over the structure of the Flagon, where he can spend hours ranting about events like [[The Spellplague]] or [[The Second Sundering]] with exaggerated intensity, treating history like a grand, unfolding performance. His lifelong friendship with [[Dante Thaylen]] is a constant exchange of sarcasm, arguments, and mutual understanding, the two balancing each other in a way neither would admit aloud.
