Established in 1448 DR, the shop has changed hands many times over the years, passing from one trader to the next as Silvercross grew and shifted. With each new owner came a new name, each attempting to leave their mark on the storefront, yet the purpose of the place never truly changed. When [[Jessa Marlin]] took ownership, she chose to keep its current name, a holdover from the previous proprietor, finding that it suited the shop better than anything she could have replaced it with. Since then, the name has remained, finally settling into something that feels less temporary and more permanent. Inside, the shop is a controlled maze of supplies; rope, rations, cookware, cloaks, oils, charms, and tools filling shelves, hanging from beams, and stacked in crates that somehow never obstruct the flow of traffic. Its position beside [[Stonecut Meats]] ensures a constant stream of customers, the two shops feeding into one another throughout the day. Adventurers prepare here before departure, locals replenish what daily life wears down, and travelers fill gaps in their gear without needing to search elsewhere. The pace rarely slows, voices overlapping, transactions quick and efficient, yet beneath the movement is a sense of reliability that has outlasted every previous owner. In a town defined by movement and endurance, The Wayfarer’s Pack remains what it has always been; a place where preparation begins, and where it never quite ends.
