I never knew how much of her old life she was serious about and how much she simply enjoyed running the kitchen like everyone inside it was part of a crew. - Emberra was loud, temperamental, and extremely good at what she did. Guests could complain about the noise if they wanted, but they usually stopped once the food arrived.
