By the time I knew her, she was less someone who worked for [[Rowan Eldwynair|dad]] and more another part of the household that kept the place feeling like home. - She handled guests with a patience I never had, especially when the Flagon was crowded or somebody had decided an inn was the proper place to turn a minor disagreement into a public performance. [[Randal Fallowbrook]] gave her regular opportunities to practice. - Sera often worked alongside [[Ellira Leafsong]], particularly during the quieter mornings before the Flagon filled up. Between the two of them and dad, there was always someone making sure the place was ready before the rest of us arrived to make it difficult. - I spent enough of my childhood around Sera that I never really thought of her as staff. She was simply Sera, one of the people who belonged to the Flagon and, because of that, belonged to home.
