I was born in [[Silvercross]], grew up beneath its laws, trained under an Order that considered protecting its people part of our responsibility, and spent enough time traveling its roads that most of the kingdom has always felt familiar even when I was nowhere near it. - The Obarskyrs have ruled Cormyr for longer than anyone I know has been alive, with the Purple Dragons and War Wizards serving as the most recognizable arms of the Crown. You grow up hearing about both whether you intend to join either of them or not. - It is a kingdom of forests, mountains, farms, old roads, and settlements ranging from places like Silvercross to cities such as [[Suzail]] and [[Marsember]]. - For all the years I spent wandering across [[Faerûn]], Cormyr remained the place I measured everywhere else against. I left because I could not bear to stay, not because I ever stopped thinking of it as where I belonged.
