I knew of them before [[Greenest]], but watching an army of cultists and mercenaries tear through a town made them rather difficult to dismiss as somebody else's problem. - What we know now is much worse than a few raids. The Cult is gathering a massive hoard of stolen wealth and moving it toward [[The Well]] (known as the Well of Dragons), where they intend to use it as part of an attempt to bring [[Tiamat]] back into this realm. - Their goal, as far as we understand it, is simple enough to be terrifying: bring Tiamat here and let her rule over everything; if I heard correctly they may have tried doing this before? - We have been following that treasure since Greenest, through the Cult's camp and into the caravan running north from [[Baldur’s Gate]] toward [[Waterdeep]]. At this point, the gold itself is no longer the mystery. The problem is making certain enough of it never reaches the Well for their plan to work. - The Cult also appears to have five Wyrmspeakers which is likely as close to a leadership role as anyone can get in there. Each appears associated with a different color mask: white, blue, red, green, and black. I don't know that there are more colors than that, but this is what we assume so far: - Black - [[Rezmir]] carries the black dragon mask, we know this. - White - We also know of a [[White Wyrmspeaker]], the woman [[Kalis Mikhailson]] spoke with after we left the encampment before reaching [[Waterdeep]]. - Blue - We have reason to believe there is also a Blue Wyrmspeaker, perhaps this is the [[MYSTERIOUS WOMAN]] we encountered on [[Stormwreck Isle]] in the sky with her [[MYSTERIOUS WOMAN'S DRAGON]]? - Green/Red - I know nothing useful about whoever holds the red or green masks.
