I learned enough about them during my time with the [[Order of the Lucky Blades]] to know they're best avoided, though my particular dislike comes from their proximity to the worship of [[Beshaba]], especially around [[Bezantur]]. I understand the Red Wizards themselves aren't necessarily followers of hers, but Thay has never struck me as a place particularly concerned with keeping such people in check. I've had quite enough dealings with the [[Church of Beshaba]] and her followers to be suspicious of anyone willing to tolerate them, and the Red Wizards weren't exactly winning me over to begin with.
