They're a dangerous stretch of mountains, supposedly home to everything from gnolls and ogres to giants, with a few dwarven mines scattered throughout. I've been through them myself, though not for any particularly pleasant reason. During my [[17 - The Hollow Cloister|seventeenth cycle]], I followed a letter into the mountains, eventually finding the [[Hollow Cloister]], a hidden monastery belonging to the [[Church of Beshaba]]. It's where Kaelen and I fought for the last time in that life. I can't say I have any desire to return.
