It's the capital of [[Cormyr]], sitting along the Dragonmere, and probably one of the busiest places I've ever visited. The harbor is always full of ships, the streets are crowded with merchants and travelers, and there's no shortage of places to spend your coin. It's a nice enough city, though I've always preferred somewhere a little quieter. - Queen [[Raedra Obarskyr]] rules from here, and it's pretty difficult to go anywhere without running into the [[Purple Dragons]]. The [[War Wizards]] are around as well, though I've never had much reason to deal with them. Between the two, I imagine anyone looking to cause trouble would have a rather unpleasant time of it. - I know my way around parts of the city, but I wouldn't pretend to know every street or everything that goes on behind the palace walls. There's certainly plenty to see, and I can understand why people come from all over to visit. Still, given the choice, I'd much rather spend an afternoon back in [[Silvercross]].
